Be choosy

ADA # 24 - Be Choosy

When choosing your health care professional, spend a few minutes asking him/her questions about their approach, treatment procedures and personal philosophy. Shop around and choose the one you feel most comfortable with.  Never settle for less.  Having confidence with your therapist will result in a better outcome for your treatment.

Create a timetable with everyone

ADA #23- Create a timetable with everyone

Create a daily routine for your children, especially around bedtime. Young children feel secure when they know what to expect next and will help them settle down more easily.  It will also give you more time for your other chores or some private time with your partner.

Choose the right one

ADA # 20- Choose The Right One

If you feel the treatment is not working well for you do not stay on with the same therapist. Review your progress regularly. Do not be afraid to point out areas that you feel need improving.  Discuss with your therapist how you could work together for better results.

Do your research properly on how to choose a therapist. Rapport and trust is very important in everything or anyone you choose. Also make sure that your therapist comes from a qualified training center. Always check for credentials.
